Dictionary of Old English

The Dictionary of Old English (DOE) defines the vocabulary of the first six centuries (C.E. 600-1150) of the English language.

The compilers of this resource are working their way through texts to add and update this all the time.

Recently the publisher Dictionary has added H:

The new release includes 2,956 H entries, from h (the letter) to hȳwet (hewing), with many humdingers between, spanning heofon and hell and joining heorte to hēafod.
