The problems that off-campus users have been having with ScienceDirect for much of 13th July are now resolved.
Access was removed from Salford's account with ScienceDirect due to a user systematically downloading large amounts of content from the site, which is not allowed. Please remind yourself of the acceptable uses of resources provided to you by the Library here.
We're experiencing problems with our usual direct login to ScienceDirect for off-campus users.
Whilst we work with the supplier to resolve the problem, please follow the alternative instructions below:
• Click on Sign In at the top, right hand side
• On the right, select Other Institution
• Type ‘salford’ in the box, and select University of Salford (network username)
• Enter your Salford login details as usual
We hope to get this fixed as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.
